  • Vitamins are required for every biochemical activity of the body. Vitamins cannot function unless minerals are present.

  • Minerals are the catalysts that make enzymes function possible. Chelated minerals combine with enzymes into an alkaline detoxifying agent which neutralizes the acid metabolic by-products of the cells and other toxic conditions within the body and prepares them for elimination.

  • Hormonal secretion of glands is dependent upon minerals.

  • The acid-alkaline balance (pH) of the tissue fluid is controlled by minerals

In order to get the optimal effect from minerals they must be fully absorbed into your system.  For this to happen it is critical to look for minerals that are from the right source.

So what is the best source for minerals?

It is so vitally important to focus on the form and source of any mineral nutritional supplement.

Metallic minerals only have an absorption rate of 3%-12%. That's not too good!  Chelated minerals have about a 40% absorption rate, which is better.  The Metallic and Chelated  minerals on the market, in no way comes anywhere near the absorption rate of ionic minerals which is 98%.

With this in mind, when shopping for nutritional supplements you should look for minerals in the right form in order to get the maximum absorption and vitamins that are derived from whole food sources.
